Mushroom Black Bean Burger Recipe

—  found in  Food  —

I wasn't sure what to make for dinner the other night prior to leaving for vacation but Walker and I were in the mood for a burger! Normally when we get a hankering, we head over to the delicious cabbage slaw and slathered some organic dijon mustard on top of my bunless burger. Walker enjoyed his burger with a whole wheat pita burger bun, some sliced avocado and a few pickles.

Hi Joy, Thank you for your great recipes. I love your website. Can I substitute the cremini mushrooms it this with something? I really dislike mushrooms. Thanks a lot. I canĀ“t wait for your cookbook. B.

Made these last night and they were delicious and SPICY! I topped a red leaf lettuce, carrot/beet slaw salad with it and added some avocado, dijon, red onion and pumpkin seeds. YUM.

Hi Joy- I see you mention that these should be grilled. Would you have any recommendation for a time or temp if I'd like to bake them? They look so good!

These were fantastic! Even my almost 3 yo twins loved them. Served them with a kale and Apple slaw.
