Benefits of Detoxification for Skin Health

When I see clients in my practice, more often than not skin health is among their top concerns. For me, someone's skin health often holds the first clues about what's going on inside the rest of their body. Acne? Redness? Itchy? Bumps? Dryness? Cracking? All of these symptoms are key indicators of a much larger problem.

I was excited to interview Kristen Ma, founder of and co-founder of Pure + simple spa (where I get my facials!) on how detoxification can improve your skin health.

Is it normal for skin to get worse before it gets better when you cut out the foods that you're sensitive to or that just aren't good for you. I'm found my acne got worse over the past week.
