Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup brown rice flour or oat flour
- 1 cup hemp hearts
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 bananas mashed
- 1/4 cup real maple syrup
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil or avocado oil
- 3 large eggs, whisked
- 2-3 tbsp milk of your choice
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350C/180F. Grease an 8†cake pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine hemp hearts, flours, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine the bananas, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs and milk of choice. Add these wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a fork inserted in the center comes out clean. Check at 35 minutes, if the top is getting too brown, cover with tin foil and continue baking.
- Enjoy with coconut whipping cream!
