Note from Joy: I really loved seeing Daniella's transformation. She never focused on weight or counted calories throughout her journey, instead she focused on eating "quality" food but really listened to what her body was telling her and reduced stress levels by doing yoga and learning to breathe deeply. As you will see from her photos she shed some excess weight (mostly from water retention/less bloating/reduced inflammation) and her skin became incredibly vibrant. She glows! I asked Daniella to tell me about her experience takingEat Well Feel Well, so I've just copied and pasted her words below. Enjoy!

Eat well feel well (ewfw) was a great opportunity to open my eyes to the reality of how stress and food choices impacted my overall health. While it seemed obvious to me that if I ate well I should feel well, that wasn't always the case. Every person handles food and stress in different ways. Food allergies and sensitivities can sometimes go unrecognized and that was the case with me.

EWFW made me aware that even when I was making good food choices I still needed to stay in tune with what my body was telling me and notice how certain foods or too much of something “good” can impact me as a sensitivity, dry skin, bloating.

The program gave great insight on how to make changes to meet my personal goals. The 6 weeks motivated me to WANT to make changes to my lifestyle, putting me on the road to personal “HEALTH” success.

For me I define my success as feeling great everyday- from once feeling tired and bloated all the time, having a sensitive stomach... I now have little to no bloating, I have more energy, better menstrual cycles (bye bye bad migraines) and quality bowel movements.

Meals and snacks have never been so exciting to prepare. I gained a new appreciation and better understanding of the importance of “Superfoods”. I try to incorporate as many superfoods as possible into my daily diet.

Overall I’m feeling great and have more confidence. I made a number of dietary changes some of them were:

  • Cutting out “sugar” –- sweets candy, cakes, chocolate… (every now and then I cheat a little)
  • Start every day with a glass of lemon water
  • Try to incorporate “greens” at lunch and dinner
  • Introduced foods I didn’t know of until I participated in the program ie. Goji berries, chia seeds, maca root powder…

I would strongly recommend this program to everyone. Even if you think you may know everything there is to know about living a “healthy lifestyle”, you’ll take something valuable away from it. Through food and yoga, the program helped me develop a balanced life style, a good quality diet and provided breathing techniques that helped me find inner peace to live stress free.

Overall the "EAT WELL FEEL WELL" program was a great experience and an amazing eye opener!
