Welcome to thoughtful, organic beauty
Hello Joyous is an organic, plant-based, sustainable beauty brand here to bring more joy to your day.
Okay friends, I’ve made a lot of desserts in my time… but these Coconut Chocolate Cups? They’re next level. We’re talking four simple, wholesome ingredients coming together to create a no-bake, refined sugar-free treat that’s incredibly delicious and totally addictive.
The reason I created these was that I was inspired by a chocolate coconut cup I've been buying from the health food store. It dawned on me that I could also make them myself!
If you're a fan of chocolate (who isn’t?), coconut, and the natural sweetness of raw honey, this one’s for you!
Why You’ll Love These Coconut Chocolate Cups
Besides being ridiculously easy to make, these little bites of joy are:
Let’s break down the superstars of this recipe:
Coconut – The Middle Magic
Unsweetened shredded coconut gives these cups their chewy, rich texture and subtle natural sweetness. Coconut is also rich in healthy fats and adds a nourishing layer that balances out the chocolatey goodness.
Raw Honey – Naturally Sweet + Nutrient-Packed
I love raw honey for so many reasons! It’s a natural sweetener with antimicrobial properties, antioxidants, and minerals, and it adds the perfect soft, natural sweetness to the coconut layer. Make sure you're using raw, unpasteurized honey to get all those extra benefits.
Chocolate – The Decadent Hug
Melted dark chocolate chips (you can use any % cacao you love!) bring this treat together. Paired with a touch of coconut oil, the chocolate becomes silky smooth and sets into the perfect snap once frozen. A dream!
For the silicon moulds, I bought them from Amazon. If you don't have this exact size, you can simply adjust the number of cups you make based on the size.
Use a silicon candy mould about 1 inch wide to make 12 chocolate coconut cups.
These are the perfect treat to keep on hand for after-dinner desserts, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or to share with friends (if you don’t eat them all first — no judgment!).
