It is hot and humid in Toronto! So I’ve got tips in an article I wrote for Naturally Savvy to keep you cool:

Do you enjoy outdoor exercise, but wonder if the pollution and humidity will do more harm than good? Your worry is well-founded because studies show that you can do more harm than good, exercising when the air quality is poor. I have been an outdoor runner for as long as I can remember, but living in downtown Toronto certainly takes a toll on my joyous lungs. Before I go for a run, I always check the air quality on this website here: Too Polluted To Run?
A few words of caution though, often I will run when there is a “moderate” risk, but I don’t advise you do this if you have asthma or any other breathing problems.
