She shares what inflammation is, how it is caused, and the difference between acute and chronic inflammation. She then shares a great deal of information and advice regarding anti-inflammatory nutrition.

And we’re back! After a bit of a longer break between seasons –  with Vienna home from school during the pandemic   – we are eager to jump into yet another amazing season packed with inspiring individuals ready to share their wisdom and enthusiasm with all of us – and we couldn’t ask for a better guest to start this new season than Julie Daniluk!

Julie is not only our very dear friend, but she is also a nutritionist, a best-selling author, a TV personality who hosts her own show ‘Healthy Gourmet’, and has also appeared on hundreds of television and radio shows, including The Dr. Oz Show, and The Marilyn Dennis Show where she is the resident nutrition expert. Julie joins us today for a highly enlightening discussion about inflammation, and you will quickly discover, as you listen along, that she possesses a vast amount of knowledge and passion around this topic, which is precisely why we affectionately refer to her as ‘The Anti-Inflammatory Queen’.

We dive right in with Julie explaining just what inflammation is, how it is caused, and the difference between acute and chronic inflammation. She then shares a great deal of information and advice regarding anti-inflammatory nutrition, its impact upon our bodies and our lives, as well as the dangers of donuts, sugar and flour. She also explores the ways that lifestyle and nature itself can affect inflammation. You will be astounded by the sheer amount of understanding and insight which Julie possesses in this field, you will be surprised by the revelations she has to offer, and you will finally learn what would result ‘if guacamole made love to a latte’.
