Ep 41: Dangerous Chemicals in our Food System with Activist ‘Food Babe’, Vani Hari

Today's guest on the podcast is hugely popular Vani Hari, a food activist who's moved mountains with major food companies by holding them accountable to what's really in our food.

We are thrilled to be back and start Season 5 of the podcast with a very special guest Vani Hari! Known as the Food Babe, Vani is a food activist, and NY Times best-selling author who started FoodBabe.com in April 2011 to spread information about what is really in the American food supply. Her investigations have resulted in significant changes within major food companies, and she has been hailed as one of the most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine. As you will witness today, Vani absolutely oozes passion for her goal of teaching people how to make the right purchasing decisions at the grocery store, how to live an organic lifestyle, and how to travel healthfully around the world.

Vani begins by sharing her story, the source of her passion, and the significant impact that her research, and particularly one book, had upon her. She goes on to describe how moving to whole and organic foods has changed her life forever, and then details her journey from the corporate world to her current calling as an activist, especially the facts she has uncovered and the criticism she has received in response.
