Hello my joyous readers,
I love cookies. In fact, some would say I’m a cookie monster. Years ago I was also a sugar-addict
and my cookie monster habit certainly did not make me very joyous. I would eat too many cookies, feel bloated, fat and gross. I still eat cookies today, but because my diet is very balanced I don’t suffer from sugar cravings and I only eat healthy gourmet cookies these days!
I created these cookies for my Morning Show segment on healthy boob foods last week. They could be eaten raw or cooked, it’s really up to you!

Hi
I wondered if it would be possible to replace the banana with something else… my little one has just become intolerant to this 🙁
Thanks
Miriam
Hi Miriam. The banana acts as a binder to hold the batter together (and also adds a touch of natural sweetness) so you could try using some applesauce OR a flax/chia egg instead. We’ve never tried it but it could work! Here’s a chart on how to make the chia/flax eggs: http://www.joyoushealth.com/salad-guide/
Let us know how it turns out 🙂
