Happy Friday!
I was in the mood for a quick chocolate-y snack this afternoon and just my luck I had a perfectly ripe avocado so I whipped this up in my mini food processor. Serves 2 (or 1 very generously).
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and seed removed
- 1/4 cup raw cacao
- 1/4 cup honey or real maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp coconut milk (or use water)
- 1 tbsp goji berries as a topping
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients excluding the goji berries into a small food processor. Blend until smooth. If you want it creamier, simple add more coconut milk or water. Top with goji berries. EnJOY!

Happy Friday to you too! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Love your name and business:) Looking for salads brought me here.
By ‘raw cacao’, do you mean cocoa powder, or 100% cocoa nibs?
Looks delicious! 🙂
Yes sorry for the confusion – raw cacao powder.
Did u use cacao powder or raw nibs? Just made it for my kids and did half and half for a crunchy touch but assuming the powder is better 🙂
Thanks for sharing…was delicious!!!

Hi Joy,
How would I double or triple this recipe for a family function?
Thank you,
Karen
I would suggest this recipe instead, it’s a little more updated:https://www.joyoushealth.com/27329-blog-chocolate-maca-avocado-pudding
Just double the # of ingredients. If you don’t have maca, simply omit this ingredient.
