I’m joyous to announce I have a new recipe video to share with a very special guest — my good friend Elaine Brisebois. You may have seen her before because she’s written for Joyous Health
and we have another post from her coming up this week on preventing holiday weight gain.

We hope you enjoy the video and love sipping on these yummy festive drinks all season long!

The spiced up cider is full of anti-inflammatory compounds from the fresh ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. There is no need to add any sugar. Apple cider can be purchased at any health food store.

You might think of mojitos as a summer drink but pomegranates are in season right now so I’ve made this drink more festive with pom seeds and pom juice!

Have a joyous holiday season!

  2. joy, i love your top, where is it from?

can’t wait to try both of these drink recipes.

  3. Great video and I love hot apple cider especially around Christmas time. When I make my hot apple cider I poke about 4 whole fresh cloves into about 4 or 5 organic lemon slices just before I put the pot on to simmer on the stove. The cloves add another wonderful taste…..and aroma in the kitchen….to the apple cider!

  4. Thanks! It’s from a little store on Queen West, near Spadina on the North side… near Lululemon. I don’t know the name of it. They sell mostly dresses there.
