Chickapea Pasta

I always tell people to pay more attention to the ingredients in a product, instead of the information on the Nutrition Facts label, like calories. 

I was very pleased when I came across Chickapea pasta at my local health food store and saw only TWO ingredients on the box: chickpeas and lentils.

Since then Chickapea has become a favourite in our household, especially for our daughter Vienna, who LOVES pasta! I know she's getting protein, fibre and other nutrients like complex carbs, thiamine, niacin and magnesium in this gluten-free pasta.

Enjoy warm in a traditional recipe or cold in a refreshing pasta salad.

One of the reasons I love this pasta is that it's got "substance" to it. Meaning, it feels like you're actually eating something and you feel satisfied after a bowl of this pasta - that's thanks to the protein and fibre.

I loaded this pasta sauce up with a ton of veggies to really increase the vitamins and minerals and make it super delicious too.
