Amazing to hear the realization of death from you Joy. Coming to terms with our mortality is huge.
“… according to 3 websites tests” 🤣
Loved the talk about the bias’s too. I’ve been learning a lot about cognitive bias lately in some Masterclasses I’ve been taking.
Perfume gives me headaches too Joy 🤣
OMG I can’t stand the “I have been following you for years…” message. Ashley and I have seen those too.
Loved the racism conversation too. We’ve always bought dolls and books with lots of diversity for Lily and have been paying extra care and attention to that part of her upbringing.
The skepticism chat was great too. This year, I adopted “Don’t Believe Everything You Believe”.
Walker, Ashley has crushes on all the true health gurus too.
Thanks for the episode and all the great recommendations.
Oh I love that… ‘don’t believe everything you believe’! I’ve been really feeling that this year as well. I’ve had some of my beliefs about certain things challenged and I also try to watch videos and listen to interviews with people who I find completely outrageous and don’t agree with them to see how my perspective changes. Thanks for your comment, it’s so nice to hear your feedback on the episode and take a moment to comment to us!
